This piece is the result of a very special collaboration with Daniela Rivera Kooyip as part of our "Hands Weaving the Future" volunteer program. Daniela is a talented Peruvian designer whose work stands out for its multidisciplinary approach, fusing digital illustration, fashion design, and a deep appreciation for traditional textile techniques. Inspired by the flora of Ayacucho, these tote bags pay homage to our local plants such as the broom, the potato flower, and fennel.
Each tote bag has been hand-embroidered by mothers from our community in Ayacucho, following a 100% artisanal process in our workshop. With your purchase, you directly support these artisan mothers and help keep alive the ancient techniques of our beloved Peru. 🇵🇪
